OUR COMMITMENT
Sustainability has always been a priority in every choice made in GVT. Our goal is to continuously and constantly reduce the impact that our company has on the environment.
For this reason, a devoted team is working on increasingly sustainable practices to be adopted both on the materials and in the production cycle.
It is thanks to the careful and continuous commitment over the years that our business meets all local environmental rules and regulation.
We are equipped with a fume purification system
Equipped with a wastewater disposal system
We collaborate with local specialized companies for the treatment of industrial waste.
We have an internal system of reuse, where possible, of the leftovers of the chemical products used in the finishing processes before they are definitively and correctly disposed of.
We adopt waste management which provides for a differentiation between paper, plastic, organic, undifferentiated and fabrics.
We mainly use sea shipping to ship our goods everywhere in the world. This is an advantage for us, since our company is located in an industrial area just a few kilometers away from the port and also it helps to significantly reduce CO2 emissions, due to the lower use of road transport.
REPET LINE
Following this approach, we have developed an entire line of products made with inserts of
certified recycled yarn called REPET: a combination obtained using a blend of
high tenacity yarns together with a majority of PET fibers regenerated from textile waste
and from the recovery of plastic containers and bottles.
GRS CERTIFICATION
Thanks to constant research into the use of raw materials obtained from recycling processes and our continuous commitment to improving the working environment, respecting social practices, respecting the environment and respecting the most stringent regulations in relation to non use of harmful substances we have obtained the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. A step towards a more sustainable future.
